Approach

Mike (and his brain) are available as you need them -- a few hours a month up to a day or so a week.  He spends his time concentrating on your folks, addressing your operations, handling your problems.

The brain is shared with several clients at the same time, so in order to be effective Mike will schedule time at your place on a regular basis (say once a month or once a week).  That way your management and operations gangs know when he’s coming and can prepare for the visit.

Your people set aside documents (project status reports, bids, design documents, strategic plans and like that) and work through them with him when he’s there. They have deadlines to meet, which keeps things moving. He reviews the work, makes course corrections, maybe does some coaching or heavy lifting, and fills you in on how things are going.

Mike’s unique brain is there to provide you; (1) in-house direction of the operations he’s responsible for, (2) solutions to business problems and (3) a sounding board to your management team for key decisions.

Mike can see past the walls of any silo he’s in. Whatever the role, he has the wherewithal you can count on to get your company back on track.
